During the concert I was choking back tears and on the way home my wife Shelli asked me what was wrong. I told her I was overwhelmed with memories of looking for my OWN parents in the crowd of my middle school during similar events. My mother was ALWAYS there, and for that I am so thankful.

I walked in the door at home and immediately set the tree in the base and stood back in admiration… After about 10 minutes, the tree crashed to the floor, scaring the bejesus out of me, Shelli and our cat (who may never be the same).

Just recently, I cleared off my shelves and tables and began to display the nativities. As I looked at the faces of the figurines, I saw childlike innocence and expressions reminding me of the childlike faith in which we come to Him. Some had a regal elegance fitting for the royalty of the King.
