Stephen grew up in Columbus, Ohio where he became an Ohio State Buckeye fan. In high school he began writing short stories and poetry, and his favorite time to write was during particularly boring history classes. After graduation he attended Malone University in Canton, Ohio where he majored in English. He still lives in Canton with his wife, Tricia, ferocious 20 pound dog, Sable, and his newest family member: one month old son, Brennan. He enjoys the usual pastimes of reading, writing, going to movies, playing video games, vacationing, and being involved at church.
