My son wanted it so that he could listen to music on vinyl. He finds something relaxing and inviting about its sound, making it perfect for entertaining. His fiancée, J.C., cleaned it up and bought some contemporary albums such as Coldplay, for his birthday.

Having the gift of mercy, I often take on the emotions of what those around me are experiencing. This is great when there is joy, but tough when there is pain. Multiply that times a thousand when it is your child. I can almost know how she is feeling without talking to her.

Just recently, I cleared off my shelves and tables and began to display the nativities. As I looked at the faces of the figurines, I saw childlike innocence and expressions reminding me of the childlike faith in which we come to Him. Some had a regal elegance fitting for the royalty of the King.
