Todd Abernathy is snowing all of you. He hooks up with churches and charities then rips them off. Ask him what he did to Denise in Florida. Ask him why he still owes me rent. He asked his girlfriend's church to pay his rent for him. They said they would "pray on it." The result of their prayers was to buy Abernathy a ticket to get to Las Vegas and as far away from their church member as possible. That didn't do me any good as far as the rent he left me in the lurch for as I waited for his girlfriend's church board to "pray on it." On his way out, to add insult to injury, Abernathy stole a $400 NY Yankees jacket I stored in my garage with other winter gear rarely used. He was a "good church-going clean and sober Christian" then, too. He's conning all of you. I'll bet that Nashville Mission Abernathy was supposedly doing good works for gave him food, lodging, and clothing. That's all Abernatthy is interested in - being supported without working. When we survive and tell our stories, other people connect and by connecting with us we are in some way doing God's work for Him. Alot of people turn away from God during difficult times like these but when we share our stories, those same people say, "Man, I can relate!" and then they themselves turn to God discovering what we've learned, that God is great and all forgiving. I can't help but think what Paul (Saul) must of thought when God called him out of his crazy messed up life into a new life of serving him. Just think...Paul was one screwed up fellow and because he turned and followed God his life story is still changing people's lives. Todd - I know God has a great plan for you and I so excited to get to watch your new journey unfold!
