The Sound

When night falls still, and moonlight roams through your soul,
When the wind cries, and begs to be heard,
When you feel isolated, and need the warmth of humanity,
When you toss and turn and can’t find sleep,
When you taste the bile of resentment, for opportunities lost,
When you begin to question, and regret following His will,
Listen. Listen with in yourself.
The sound of a thousand splashes…

Don’t torment yourself with “if’s” and “I should have’s”, for this is not the end.
It’s only the beginning… and to question Him, is to know that He exists with in you.
Your heart, my heart, everyone’s… a waterfall of emotions, memories,
dreams, expectations…
Listen, with in yourself, do you hear the sound of rushing water, spilling over the edge?
Every splash, a gift from God.
Cherish the sound, find serenity with in it.
Listen….
The sound of a thousand splashes.
